Heavy loopback fleece. I remember trying this on for the first time and was immediately sold. I got a personal last year and it was game over. It’s knitted slowly on traditional loopwheel (tsuri-ami) machines, which gives a soft, springy hand with a dense, tough body. It has a subtle sheen and resists pilling well. This is luxury built into a 1/4 zip. The body has a bit of room, but the overall proportions stay compact, so it works on its own or layered under a jacket. This is a piece you put on and never take off.
