Back to the archives we went. The Kabig.

Inspired by the traditional Breton fisherman’s kabig and classic workwear, this piece first made its way into the collection during AW15. And honestly, it was perfect.

Crafted from heavy, weather-resistant milled wool melton, the Kabig features a boxy, oversized fit with raglan sleeves, making it the perfect piece to layer up underneath when the cold winter months arrive.

And then there are the hand warmers.

The pièce de résistance.

Quite possibly the most brilliant functional detail we’ve ever experienced on outerwear. Positioned right at the chest, two perfectly placed compartments allow your hands to slide neatly inside, keeping those extremities warm when the weather really starts to turn.

When it came time to decide on a custom 15th anniversary piece for the shop, this one immediately stood out. Arpenteur is a legacy brand and we couldn't think of a more fitting piece for the shop.

It’s been on our minds since the day we first brought it into the shop back in 2015.
