I'm a Birks guy. We know this through and through. But let me tell you something. And please do not repeat this to Birkenstock, but these bad boys, BLOW THEM OUT OF THE WATER. Why? Thicker vibram sole, all leather footbed, it's basically comfort at it's finest with better materials and construction. I didn't think it could be done but they did it, they made a better Boston and bravo to the Real McCoy's! Caveat, I've also seen a pair after two years of wear and hot damn these things last well beyond the OGs.
